Switzerland as the epicentre of financial innovation: the inaugural Swiss Fintech Week launches

Zurich hosts a premiere: with the first Swiss Fintech Week, Switzerland gains a central platform that unites its fintech ecosystem in one of the world's most important financial hubs.
The Kongresshaus Zurich and further locations across the city form the heart of the week, bringing startups, established fintechs, financial institutions, investors and academia together to shape the technological future of the Swiss financial centre. Other global financial centres have run dedicated fintech weeks for years; Switzerland has not had such a format until now.
Innovation in the heart of Zurich
The week concentrates on the industry's most pressing technological developments:
- Next-generation banking: how AI reshapes efficiency and customer experience
- Tokenisation and digital assets: Switzerland's pioneering role in regulated crypto
- Beyond banking: financial services embedded in everyday digital life
“It is about combining global perspectives with local excellence — and not just discussing innovation, but actively driving it forward.”
A decentralised festival with a central hub
While the Kongresshaus serves as the main stage for the large conferences, the week is deliberately complemented by decentralised formats that reach the breadth of Swiss innovation hubs — from Paradeplatz to Zurich West — with deep dives, side events and community gatherings across the city.
The Global Finance & Technology Network (GFTN) supports Swiss Fintech Week as Global Strategic Partner, strengthening international exchange with global financial markets.
