Swiss Fintech Week is jointly organised by:

• Tamedia Finanz und Wirtschaft AG, Werdstrasse 21, 8004 Zürich, Switzerland

(together referred to as “we”, “us”, or “the Organisers”).

The Organisers act as joint data controllers within the meaning of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), where applicable.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data in connection with Swiss Fintech Week, including:

• event registrations and ticket purchases
• communications and event updates
• newsletters and promotional emails
• participation in sessions and partner events

Depending on your interaction with Swiss Fintech Week, we may process the following categories of personal data:

Mailchimp acts as a data processor and processes data in accordance with applicable data protection laws and standard contractual safeguards.

Personal data may be shared:

• between the joint controllers (Tenity Group AG and Tamedia Finanz und Wirtschaft AG) for organisational purposes
• with trusted service providers (e.g. ticketing platform “Ticketino”, email tools, IT providers)
• with ticketing and registration service providers (in particular Ticketino AG) for the purpose of processing event registrations and ticket purchases
• with event partners where required for specific sessions or formats

Where data is transferred outside Switzerland or the EEA, appropriate safeguards are applied (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).

Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy or to meet legal obligations.
